There was a loud and constant ventilation noise - I was able to adjust to it as 'white noise' but it could potentially bother others.
I was placed in a room that opened to the building's roof. It was a bit odd but I did so, and had the damage noted in the room's records. Upon trying to report this (specifically so I wouldn't somehow be charged for damage) I was informed I had to email the head of the corporation. Back in my room, I found a massive gouge in the entrance wall. The staff, although efficient, were not very friendly and informed me that was the only room they had available. I had booked an updated King Room and received a double room with outdated furniture.
Fortunately one only passes through (unless your goal is to gamble.) The staff were efficient but not as friendly as previous contributors reported. The Suncoast was around $60 less, with a $11 dollar Uber ride each way (so, that is technically only $38 less.) While the hotel looked very nice from the outside, I found the lobby to be rather outdated and overly smoky. I stayed at the Suncoast for one evening for a conference at the Red Rocks Casino.
